What Do You Bring to a Company Potluck?

Bought or Baked? When it comes to company potlucks do you prepare something to show off your kitchen skills or are you more apt to just buy something at the store five minutes before lunch?

As much as I love cooking and creative, I usually opt for the easy way out and just grab a couple bags of chips. That way, whatever they don't eat I just bring home. But I have made things the night before to bring in in the past.
