28 Hot L.A. & Beverly Hills Restaurants That Celebrities Love

CHAMPAGNE WISHES AND [SUSHI, CAVIAR, ITALIAN FOOD] DREAMS!

When in Portland, head to the mall if you want to see celebrities like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph or stop by Ryan Reynold’s distillery tasting room. If you’re in Seattle, visit one of these places to run into a famous person, like Joel McHale, if you’re lucky.

If you want to spot a celebrity while you’re dining out in the Los Angeles area, you’ll want to head to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, full stop.

Last year, I took note of some of the restaurants where celebrities were spotted dining out there in 2023. I've updated the list for 2024 (as seen below), places celebrities have recently been seen.

Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and West Los Angeles (aka Hollywood) are loaded with hot spots to see the stars at a restaurant table near you, from the A-List all the way down to the end of the celebrity alphabet.

WHY DO CELEBRITIES LOVE BEVERLY HILLS AND WEST HOLLYWOOD SO MUCH?

A long time ago when the Hollywood scene in Los Angeles was just getting started, many celebrities decided to live in the west part of town. It was an exclusive neighborhood with big houses and mansions that drew in the “It” crowd.

Restaurants began to pop up to cater to these wealthy patrons, bringing in chefs that eventually become celebrities themselves. The area is flush with cash!

When I was growing up, Wolfgang Puck became a celebrity for his restaurant, Spago. He became so popular, he was invited to cater huge Hollywood events like the Golden Globes.

The same is true about the Beverly Hills neighborhood, which is contained within West Hollywood and near Beverly Grove, another fancy area.

A lot of exclusive shopping districts are located in Beverly Hills, with Rodeo Drive being the most famous street in Beverly Hills. Celebrities shop there all the time, like Timothy Chalamet, who recently bought some Christmas gifts at the Chanel store.

We get it, celebs are just regular people too, but they have connections to exclusive places to eat where, frankly, us regular folks just don't. There is something fun and I'll dare say it, glamorous, about eating in a restaurant known for celebrity sightings. Don't blame me; I'm just the messenger!

Even I am bookmarking this list so that the next time I visit L.A., I'll know just where I want to see and be seen!
