While enjoying something refreshing in the beer garden at Downtown Summer Nights on Thursday, I heard an unmistakable sound. It was a sound that causes many emotions, from laughter to embarrassment to anger and all points in between. I happen to have been right next to someone who accidentally dropped his beer and got it all over himself. I wanted to get his thoughts on the matter.

Seattle band McTuff will be gracing the stage at Downtown Summer Nights tonight for a free concert. They, as well as us, would love to see you down there on 4th street starting at 5:00 p.m. as it's the kick-off party for the first Downtown Summer Nights of the season.

Gas prices are going back up, a drought's drying up the whole valley and most of the rest of the world's going to hell in a handbasket. What can any of us do about it? Hey, let's dance! And if you're thirsty, don't sweat it: The beer garden and food vendors are back.
