Gasp!

Jennifer Aniston is the goddess of good hair, so it’s always jarring when she goes for a chop or makes a major, drastic change. The former ‘Friends’ star and ex-wife of Brad Pitt, known for her glossy, straight, flawless locks, has ditched several inches and was seen sporting a chin-length bob.

The superstar revealed that the new, not-so-flattering cut was done out of necessity. She had damaged her mane during a process and she had no choice but to snip, snip and snip some more.

“It wasn’t for a role, my hair went through a phase — I did this thing called a Brazilian and my hair did not react really well to it,” the actress said. “It’s about 2-inches above my shoulders now.”

It’ll grow back, Jen! The actress is known for her long locks; they are almost like a security blanket for her and for us.

Aniston last had a lob — a long bob — back in 2001, cutting it due to damage. What, no deep conditioning treatments at your disposal, Jen? While we are not in lurve with her chop, she’s still a stunner at 44.

The actress is partnered with longtime stylist Chris McMillan for the Living Proof hair care product line.
