Testing the Doritos Jacked Test Flavor Because They’re Too Lazy To Name It Themselves
More and more companies are using their audience — their customers — to name their products for them. I still think it's lazy as they don't even know what to call their new flavors, but we can at least have a bit of fun trying something original and see what the taste reminds us of. I grabbed a bag of Doritos Jacked Test Flavor: 404. Here's what I think.
First of all, these chips looked darker than usual. Upon first bite, they weren't spicy, but there was a unique taste to them. Something familiar that I can't quite put my finger on. Kind of cheesy, but not really. Kind of smoky. Hmm, better have another.
There's a definite barbecue flavor and a hint of lime. My palate tells me Pulled Pork Sandwich. Very good!
They have other flavors available, too, but the store I went to only had this. Hopefully I can find the others and try them out as well.
Have you tried these? I'd love to get your insight on what you think they taste like.
