Ahtanum Fire Fills Yakima with Smoke

I heard the hills had some fires going and that Yakima's best were taking care of it. It wasn't until around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night when my daughter said it smells like someone was making s'mores. That's when we opened our front door to the smell of smoke and ash that Yakima is all-too familiar with.

I was immediately reminded the time a few years ago when we had all those terrible brushfires that kept Yakima in a blanket of smoke and low visibility.
I know our fire department are doing all they can to take care of this. Let's hope it's under control sooner than later. Stay tuned for updates and support.
