Anitta Makes Her English Language Debut With Ethereal ‘Will I See You’
When it's all said and done, will you see Anitta conquer the U.S. charts? If the Brazilian performer's debut English language single, "Will I See You," is any indication, then yes—slowly, but surely.
The singer-dancer strips things down (and quite literally, if you take the sensually charged video into consideration) on her and producer Poo Bear's dreamy new R&B ballad, which premiered on Sunday (September 3).
Lilting melodies and flickers of warm acoustic guitar cushion Anitta's crystalline vocals, which glide over the chorus like fluffy down feathers inside a silk pillow: "When it's all said and done, will I see you? / I need to know."
In August, Billboard announced that the South American superstar was working on her debut English language album, set to feature production by Alesso, Marshmello and Poo Bear.
