Desiigner may have "broads in Atlanta" but the 19-year-old has actually never been to the ATL.

In an interview with Billboard, Desiigner admitted that there was indeed a girl from Atlanta who inspired his hit song, "Panda." But instead of meeting her in the A, they met on Facebook. "We never met in person," he said. "She just said she was from ATL, so I was like, 'All right, I got broads in Atlanta.' It's real life, you feel me? I put real-life s--- in my songs."

Well, there you have it. Although that likely won't be the case for long. Desiigner has been riding the success train since "Panda" dropped. Not only is he signed to G.O.O.D. Music, the young rhymer joined Kanye West, Pusha T, 2 Chainz on stage during the G.O.O.D. Music set at this year's Hot 97 Summer Jam. He even closed out the set with "Panda." Desiigner is also gracing the cover of XXL's 2016 Freshman issue alongside Anderson .Paak, Dave East, Lil Dicky, Denzel Curry, Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black and more.

Desiigner is also slated to released his debut mixtape, Trap History Month, and an official studio album, Life of Desiigner, later this year. As for working with Ye, Desiigner, who was featured on The Life of Pablo's "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2," has nothing but admiration for Yeezy. "The work ethic behind everything Kanye does is crazy," he told Billboard. "It's greatness. He told me, 'We're not just rappers, we're artists.'"

It's only a matter of time before the "Panda" rapper finds himself in ATL for a performance -- and perhaps the lucky lady who inspired the song will make an appearance as well.
