Food Combos You Can Try at Old Country Buffet

OLD COUNTRY BUFFET / John Riggs

The beautiful thing about Old Country Buffet is that it's all-you-can-eat. Although they have the largest variety in a buffet in the Yakima Valley, I thought it'd be fun to combine some food items to create my own menu. Here's a few I did. Try them out yourself!

  • Mac & Cheese and pieces of chicken in a torilla

    Because everything could, and should, be a burrito

  • Bun, Chicken Strip, Nacho cheese sauce

  • Cookie Cream Sandwich

    Sandwich two cookies with the whipped topping

  • Chocolate Ice Cream filled Jalapeno

    Burn and Relief at the same time

    Believe it or not, it was pretty good. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it'd be, but that heat comes later after the coldness of the ice cream stops numbing your pallet.
