Ice Storm Hits Yakima Hard

45 minutes. That's how long it took me to chip away at the ice from my car to make it driveable to look out the windows. It took me about 45 minutes.

I started to feel the ice come down the night before. We even had co-workers say they were leaving early to accommodate travel time on the roads before it got worse. A few schools even announced they were going to have a delay but once morning hit, many school were cancelled. This ice is no joke.
