A press release says Deputies recognized the man as a suspect in the carjacking and also wanted for failing to register as a sex offender and for probation violations.
Rather than pulling the man from his vehicle authorities spent hours trying to talk to the man as he kept the pistol pointed at his head and his finger on the trigger.
