
Downtown Yakima Farmers’ Market Opens May 10 for Mother’s Day Weekend
It's time for the Sunday Downtown Yakima Farmers’ Market. The opening day is set for May 10, Mothers Day 2026. The Downtown Association of Yakima Executive Director, Curt Wilson says the market will open with lots of handcrafted items, great food and entertainment. If you're looking for a special gift for Mom you'll find lots of options on Sunday in the Rotary Pavilion at 15 W. Yakima Avenue.
AS THE SUMMER APPROACHES WE'LL SEE MORE ITEMS AT THE MARKET
Later this spring and summer the market will begin to fill with the fruits and vegetables that are hallmarks of the Yakima Valley. The schedule calls for the market to run from May 10 to October 18 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. with many specialty days including the always popular "Kids Day."
