The Yakima Valley Library hosts Dungeons & Dragons nights on certain Wednesdays where they run campaigns and teach new players how to take part in the fun of storytelling.

Swap Meets, Comics, and Community in Yakima
Stores like Yakomix (1404 Fruitvale Blvd, Yakima) host a quarterly swap meet where people can buy, sell, and trade comics, toys, games, and anything in between. Their next swap meet will be Saturday, January 31st, over at Northtown Coffee House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Outside of the meet, Yakomix shop owner Oren is always happy to help new people get into the world of comics. He also teams up with the 509 League of Comic Geeks, who collaborated with Ron’s Coin and Collectibles to help build a geek community from the ground up.
