We had the most wonderful time at Valley Mall getting people to help the Central Washington State Fair name the apple and cow mascots. And it's not too late for your insight as whoever has the winning name will grab a Central Washington State Fair prize pack valued at $300.

If they choose the name you picked, you'll win a season pass good for all 10 days of the 2024 Central Washington State Fair, a wristband for all day carnival rides, 10 days of parking, a fair swag bag, and a pair of concert tickets to the 2024 concert line-up.
In the meantime, the Central Washington State Fair has been doing these pop-up events which have been fun to get people to scan and submit their names along with giving out tons of prizes like we recently did at Valley Mall.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
