What is Hangxiety
Hangxiety, as you may have guessed, it's a mash-up of hangover and anxiety. Though the name may have been made up, the syndrome is very real. It's when you're coming off of a hangover and the regret you may feel afterwards. It's not just a thought that passes through your head, it's your brain and body recalibrating back to your typical state and the anxiety you may feel about what may have happened in your previous state while you were drinking.
Hangxiety trending on Google
The word Hangxiety first started popping up on Google Trends around 2017. From there, other people started using it as well.
