If Washington is 2nd Worst State to Drive, Who’s Worse than WA?
How are the drivers in Washington state? Not statistically, but just from your opinion.
The first thought you had wasn't a positive one, was it?
According to Wallet Hub, Washington is the 2nd worst state to drive in.

I mean, have you seen the other drivers? Especially in Seattle, it's insane.
It's the only state where we have passive-aggressive drivers. It's gotta be.
What is the worst state to drive in?
I was thinking it may be New York, New Jersey, or California.
New York came in 27th for best drivers. Then again, people in the city never drive they just take the subway.
New Jersey? Well, that came in 38th. On the worse half, but not terrible.
California is the 5th worst state to drive in. Pretty bad, but not the worst.
The worst state to drive in is Hawaii. I guess that makes sense.
When you account for cost of ownership and maintenance, traffic and infrastructure, safety, and access to vehicles it all adds up in its own way.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
