Trader Joes has Plans on Opening a New Location in Eastern Washington
Trader Joe's is at the top of many lists for businesses people want to see in our area. With unique products only found there, a friendly atmosphere, and that feeling that walking into a store like this seems like you're going back in time to the days of the local grocer, those who love Trader Joe's are hard pressed to shop anywhere else.
And the 2 Buck Chuck ain't bad. Although it now sells for just over $4 a bottle vs. the $1.99 it used to be for its namesake, it's still a great deal.
Well, the good news is there is a new Trader Joe's coming to Eastern Washington.
If you're not familiar with the area, Spokane Valley is right next to Spokane on the east side heading towards Idaho.
The city of Spokane is the 2nd largest city in Washington State and only has two Trader Joe's locations in town. One on North Division and another in the Lincoln Heights area.
The new location of Trader Joe's brings the classic brand to Spokane Valley to the old Shopko on Sprague.
It's a great location of the new store with easy access.
This will mark the 3rd for the Spokane area with literally zero for Tri-Cities, Yakima, Ellensburg, Moses Lake, or anywhere else in Eastern Washington. Here's hoping we'll get one soon enough as well.
