Did Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Get Married?

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin may have made headlines after being spotted hanging together in Miami and making out in New York City, but despite rumors (and a curiously placed ring), the two certainly haven't walked down the aisle together.

After being seen out and about wearing a ring on his left ring finger, some eagle-eyed Beliebers wondered if the Biebs and his model girlfriend had secretly gotten hitched. Sources tell TMZ, however, that the jewelry was just part of a ploy to prank the pesky paparazzi.

"Justin wanted to play a prank on paps by slipping a band on his left ring finger. He figured he'd sit back and watch the internet explode — and that's pretty much what happened," TMZ wrote on Thursday (June 21).

Their source added that "as of now, there are zero plans for a wedding — Justin and Hailey are still just enjoying each other's company."

Baldwin was previously linked to Shawn Mendes as recently as May — the two attended the Met Gala together — but Mendes maintains that he and the model have a platonic relationship, and that if she and Bieber are dating, he supports the pairing.

"I love them both. They're both really awesome people," he said.
