This year, we watched several rants, diatribes, and endearing anecdotes from Kanye through his Twitter. After watching him dive in headfirst into a messy verbal sparring match with Wiz, to tackling his past love life with Amber Rose, we've always gotten something real from 'Ye. After trouncing Twitter, it appears that Mr. West is taking on a new conquest in the realm of social media: Instagram.

This past Saturday (Sept. 17), Kanye officially launched his Instagram page. In a matter of days, he conquered a feat that many aspire to do on the 'Gram; and that's hit a million followers. Late Saturday night, he posted his lone pic, which featured a screenshot of the Johnny Cab scene from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1990 flick, Total Recall. How did 'Ye fair in terms of his pic? Well, he scored 384,000 likes and over 59,000 comments. Not too shabby.

With 'Ye still on his Pablo Tour, we're sure that he's going to have a lot of interesting things to post during his time out there. Maybe we'll get more details about his reported collaborative project with Drake? We might even get more info inside his on-going battle with his former protege Kid Cudi. Either way, it should be interesting to see what's on the mind of Mr. West. Now, all he has to do is catch up to Kim's whopping 82 million followers and he'll be ok.
