Katharine McPhee and Leslie Odom Jr. will have their smashing reunion as announcers of the 2018 Tony Awards nominees.

On Thursday (April 12), Playbill revealed the Smash costars would do the honors of unveiling this year's nominations for the 72nd annual Tony Awards, broadcasting live from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

Outside their tenure on the NBC musical drama series — which held a cult following during its one-year run from 2012 to 2013 — both stars have made a name for themselves as respected stage performers.

In 2016, Odom Jr. garnered high praise for his performance in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Alexander Hamilton-inspired hit musical Hamilton as Aaron Burr, for which he earned a Tony.

McPhee, who rose to stardom as an American Idol-contender-turned-pop-singer-songwriter during the mid-'00s, recently made her Broadway debut this month as Jenna in Waitress, in which she's presumed to keep a limited commitment in the musical through the summer.

Both McPhee and Odom Jr. will moderate the nominees on May 1 at 8:30 a.m. on CBS and TonyAwards.com. A host for the gala has not yet been named, though Playbill reports an emcee will be revealed in the weeks to come.

The 2018 Tony Awards will commence June 10 at Radio City Music Hall.
