Local Man Wins National ‘Surge Experience’ Contest

The soft drink that revolutionized the '90s, Surge, held a contest looking for the best "Surge party" photo. The winner would get a trip to Los Angeles and meet a '90s celebrity. The winner of this contest, as it turns out, was someone from the Yakima Valley!

Mikey Lamberte of Selah shared a most excellent photo of a local Surge party, complete with pogs, Pokemon and everything else '90s. Surge announced this as the winning photo and sent Mikey and his "plus one" to L.A. for a fun weekend of sightseeing and events.

The experience will be live streamed here so we can all live vicariously through Mikey.

Update: The mystery guest turned out to be Pauly Shore. What a fun experience!
