In the time since he released his last full-length project, Dreams Worth More Than Money in June of 2015, Meek Mill has beefed with Drake, 50 Cent, The Game and Beanie Sigel for a variety of reasons. Speaking with Hot 97 recently over the phone, Meek's better half Nicki Minaj says that the many back-and-forth's are played out and that the on going drama just gives Meek a platform to release great music.

"I do not believe there’s any such thing as negative publicity," she says around the 15 minute mark in the above video. "And that’s what I tell him. There’s a lot of things that I know about other rappers that I keep quiet. As a man and as a rapper and as an artist, he runs his shit the way I run my shit. He’s the boss of his stuff. I don’t really want to step in too much, because it's not my place. Behind the scenes, I’m such a rapper that I’m always critiquing everything but he gotta live his own life at a certain point in terms of his career choices. I strongly believe great music changes everything. If niggas got your name in they mouth for a year or two, thank them, because if you come out with great music after all of that then it’s nothing, none of that matters. Social media has given so much power to irrelevant shit because the masses now have a voice and if you’re not careful you will allow them to shape what you do."

While Meek released two EPs in January of this year, many are waiting for his Dreamchasers 4 mixtape, which is supposed to drop this fall, for a sign of where he intends to go musically and thematically following his many beefs. Earlier this week, he shared nine snippets from the tape, suggesting its release is growing closer.
