Old Top Foods Grocery Cart Found in West Virginia

Top Foods may be gone, but it's certainly not forgotten. Someone just found one of its shopping carts all the way out in West Virginia.

My friend Steve Nickell out in West Virginia was out at a Save-a-Lot store when he looked down and saw that the cart came from a Top Foods in Yakima. He reached out to me, knowing I was in Yakima, and asked about it. It was pleasent surprise to hear those shopping carts found a use.

Back in 2013 it was announced that Yakima's Top Foods would close. Though Hobby Lobby is now where it used to be, the legend of Top Foods can live on all the way out in West Virginia.
