
Head to Yakima’s Chesterley Park for Free Summer Movies on Sundays
Yakima weekends have a load of free family-style activities to enjoy this summer, from free music in the park, cruises down Yakima Avenue, and now we can add the 2026 Outdoor Summer Cinema Series to the list.
See Six Movies for the Price of NONE
I'm excited to see the list of movies that Yakima Parks & Recreation is showing for free this July and August. The first free movie will be shown at the Pippins Baseball Stadium and the other five movies will be shown at Chesterley Park this summer. All movies are rated PG, so they are perfect for your whole family to watch.

NOTE: Because this is a public park, you can bring your blankets and lawn chairs but you cannot bring any alcohol or illegal controlled substances.
