Scarlett Johansson and Husband Attend Art Opening After Reported Split
Scarlett Johansson stepped out with her husband, Romain Dauriac, on the same day their reported split was announced (January 25).
What does it all mean? Well, it means that they definitely attended the same art opening, chiefly, for the "An Uncanny Likeness" exhibition reception at New York City's Simon Lee Gallery. A shared passion for art is one of the things that bonded the couple who married two years ago; Johansson and Dauriac have attended art world gatherings together in the past and met through Parisian tattoo and graffiti artist Fuzi Uvtpk.
"He’s interested in my weird, alien entertainment world. It fascinates him because it’s so different than what he knows. And I like to go to art openings with him and talk about art and emerging artists with him. That’s his passion," Johansson told Parade back in 2015. The two married in October 2014 and share a daughter, Rose.
Despite their alleged separation, Johansson and Dauriac looked relaxed in photos from Wednesday's event, which you can see over at USWeekly. However, the site reported that Johansson wasn't wearing her engagement ring or wedding band.
Amicable parting, or two people still very early in the process of disentangling their lives with each other? A source told US that Johansson has hired celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, who represented Ryan Reynolds during his own divorce from Johansson, and is currently working for Angelina Jolie in her contentious divorce from Brad Pitt.
