Having your car stolen is bad enough, but Carol Denmead of Arizona experienced something even more traumatizing than your basic carjacking: a stolen vehicle with her precious pup inside. The 12-year-old collie mix was waiting in Denmead’s 2005 Pontiac last Thursday morning while she quickly ran inside a pharmacy.

Sometimes we’re asked to think outside the box, but this dog named Lucy has had to think outside the cone. The pooch had undergone surgery on her head, forcing her to wear a plastic cone to keep the stitches safe. The handicap, however, led to a conundrum: how to get up a flight of stairs?

When this dog was a puppy, he was playing fetch like it was his birth right. Meanwhile, all these babies want to do is sit by the pool on their weak, underdeveloped muscles, sucking on their fingers like they’re covered in Similac. Come on babies, doggie wants to play!
