I loved the few plays I did in High School and if you haven't ever gone to school play, you should. The kids at Eisenhower High School will be performing "Guys and Dolls" over the next few weekends and performances are open to the public.

My kids and I had a blast at the Volleyball Jamboree. Mr. Ike, Mr. West Valley and Mr. East Valley students met up for some fun volleyball action as each team played twice versus everyone and all for a great cause. All proceeds donated went to Children's Village.

Tomorrow night's football game at Zaepfel Stadium on the Eisenhower High School campus between the home Cadets and visiting Eastmont will honor the valley's up-and-coming gridders.

The Ike Players are presenting Shrek: The Musical live at Ike from February 18 through February 27.

Now that they're tearing down the old Eisenhower high school and the new school is being in use, IKE is letting the public check out the new school with an open house tour on Thursday.

As they built a new school for Eisenhower High School, the question was, "what are they going to do with the old school?" The answer: "tear it down." Although we originally heard they were going to demolish the old school sometime in July, it stayed up even when school started.
