The Naches Sportsman's Days weekend runs Friday through Sunday (Sept 11-13) and it is a blast! After doing this for over 60 years, they've got it right -- Sportsman's Days are always jam-packed with fun!

Naches Valley is having its first complete Mr. Naches pageant. They're making this an interactive experience by holding a restaurant takeover at Powerhouse Grill and you're invited!

We love carnival rides, right? Pretty much all of them. They're even kind of interesting to watch, we discovered during Sportsman's Days in Naches this weekend.  

Naches couldn't have planned it better. This weekend's Sportsman's Days has been enjoying perfect weather -- and a perfect blend of entertainment, food and fun for the whole community. The third annual Chinook Music Festival kicks off tonight at Jim Sprick Community Park in Naches. The festival is getting high praise as one of the best small fests on the West Coast and is attracting artists that are getting national notoriety such as Sturgill Simpson, whose new album was recently profiled in Rolling Stone magazine and recently performed on David Letterman's show.

Next weekend, the Nile Valley will be rocked once again as 32 bands from around the Northwest and up and down the left coast will converge on Jim Sprick Community Park for the 2nd annual Chinook Music Festival presented by Liberty Bottle Works.

Today has not been a good day in the news for zip lines. First, there's the national story about the girl who got some weird flesh-eating disease from a zip line. On top of that, one of our friends in Naches was stuck on a zip line as he was trying to get to the other side of the river.
