Reese Witherspoon has had an interesting time lately: the producer of Gone Girl, nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Wild, and the recent star of the not-so-funny Hot Pursuit. But Witherspoon is funny — she’s also immensely charming and versatile (obviously), and she knows how to light up a room. Unfortunately, she’s not really the star of this week’s SNL, suffering from the same fate that befell Scarlett Johansson in last week’s underwhelming episode. Throughout the bulk of the episode, Witherspoon is more like a supporting player than the star, and I’m growing concerned about how terrible these female-hosted episodes have been lately and what that says about SNL in general.
The 2015 Oscars is Hollywood's biggest night -- and the stars are banding together to encourage the hashtag #AskHerMore in order to end sexist red carpet questions.
Moments after Reese Witherspoon's husband Jim Toth was pinched for driving under the influence and Witherspoon was arrested for sassing an officer, she was videotaped in handcuffs -- and not in the way people would pay good money to see.
We're guessing this will most likely put a snag in her status as America's Sweetheart.
As you've probably heard by now, 'Election' star Reese Witherspoon was arrested on Friday, April 12, after her husband Jim Toth got a DUI and she got mouthy and self-important with law enforcement in a rather Tracy Flick-esque manner.
But now she's issued a mea culpa.
Actress Reese Witherspoon, 37, and her 42-year-old husband, talent agent Jim Toth, apparently kicked off their weekend early: He was arrested for DUI on Friday, April 12.
And Reese found herself in handcuffs too -- for running her Oscar-winning mouth at the cops.
Reese Witherspoon and her talent-agent hubby Jim Toth have only been married for about a year, but they apparently didn’t waste any time starting a family — sources confirm the actress is pregnant.
