Taylor Swift channeled Coco Chanel and her timeless, classic style in a fitted, wide-striped, cream and black Kate Spade dress on the red carpet at the 2012 Jingle Ball Saturday night (Dec. 1.)

While we've often questioned some of the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer's fashion choices, and why, at 22, she dresses like a First Lady when she has a model's height, killer stems and an enviable figure, she nailed it with this party frock.

Stripes are notoriously hard to pull off. Wide-set stripes are even harder to pull off. But Swift, since she has such a trim shape, turns heads. Kate Spade designs classic, elegant and more sophisticated ensembles, so we're not shocked that Swift selected one of her creations for a red carpet walk.

She kept the rest of the look simple, with her wavy hair, her now-signature bangs and her ever-present crimson-swiped lips.

PopCrushers, what do you think of T. Swizzle's Kate Spade dress? Do you think she looks adorable? Or are you not feeling the stripey-ness?
