The Leftover Turkey Trot Brings Fun for a Great Cause

The sixth annual Leftover Turkey Trot combines a fun 5K walk/run event with a great cause that helps out the Yakima Valley.

The Leftover Turkey Trot is Nov. 28 at Sarg Hubbard Park, where registration is at 9 a.m. and the run itself starts at 10. The event is two days after Thanksgiving -- great news, because you can stuff yourself on Thanksgiving and then burn off those extra calories during this event.

You can pre-register at campprimetime.org and the money received goes to Camp Prime Time and the Yakima Greenway Foundation.

This is an annual event that's worth checking out.
