This past weekend, I was a guest at the Selah High School Homecoming Dance, and boy was it a lot of fun! (Shout out to Michelle McCartney and Principal David Gibb!)

I was hanging in the DJ room and got a first hand peek into the minds of what high schoolers want to hear at their homecoming. No big surprise, they wanted to hear a lot of SLOW songs, to have a legitimate excuse to dance all close to their dates, HELLO!

The DJ played a lot of upbeat jams and I don't think the crowd left the dance floor once, and finally there was some good slow songs played, such as "See You Again" (Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth), "Earth Angel" (The Four Seasons, as requested), and "Time After Time" (Cyndi Lauper).

It was a fun and cool event, and the party ended right after the Homecoming Queen and King danced to the song "I Don't Dance" (Lee Brice).

Here are the top five jams that had the crowd going nuts at Selah's homecoming dance, plus a bonus jam for your homecoming playlist, "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars!

"Hit The Quan"

"Watch Me (Nae Nae)"

"Cool For The Summer"

"Where Are You Now"

"Cupid Shuffle"

"Uptown Funk"
