Following the news that his Astroworld album has returned to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, Travis Scott makes a surprising announcement. Today (Dec. 3), La Flame used his Twitter account to reveal that he will be applying to Harvard University.

"I'm applying to Harvard in a couple days. And I really am excited," he wrote on Twitter. "Somebody pinch me!!!," Travis tweeted.

Although he didn't reveal the exact date he would apply or what he plans to study, Travis seems very excited about the opportunity. Scott actually attended University of Texas San Antonio before he dropped out during his sophomore year, so maybe he's going back to finish what he started as an undergrad. Guess we'll just have to see.

Applying to school is one of the many things on Travis' very busy schedule. He is currently on his Astroworld Tour, which kicked off at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. The tour will continue to visit different cities including Atlanta, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and more.

While on tour, the Houston native dropped off his visual for"Yosemite" on Friday (Nov. 30). The Nabil-directed video depicts Travis and Gunna on their way to a fictionalized Astroworld. Throughout the music video, a younger version of Travis reminisces on the first time he discovered Astroworld.

As if that's not enough on his plate, the "Sicko Mode" rapper is putting together an Astroworld-themed line of smoking accessories. On Friday (Nov. 30), Travis applied for a trademark that would allow him to sell smoking accessories with his Astroworld logo on it. Last month, Travis also revealed that he plans on making Astroworld-themed jewelry.

Good luck to Travis with his application to Harvard. Check out his tweets confirming his plans below.
