Washington State Patrol Pulls Over “Sharpie” Driver

Sharpies are in the news again as a Washington State driver was pulled for trying to be "sneaky" with their license tabs.

Washington State Patrol spotted a driver near Lynnwood going north on I-5 but noticed something peculiar about their license plate.

It seems they had used a Sharpie to hide their 2018 tab and tried to make it look like a 2019 tab.

The driver was clever as they had colored in the green 2018 tab, making it a black 2019 tab.

A sharp-eyed trooper spotted the almost-perfect dye job but it wasn't good enough to prevent the driver from being pulled over and stopped, they are also going to receive a hefty fine up to $228 for the deception.
