How trusting are you of the teen drivers on the road in Washington state? Well, as it turns out, they're a lot safer than most of the rest of the United States.

The only states with safer teen drivers are Maryland, Illinois and Oregon -- New York's the safest of all.

If you have a fear of teen drivers, I'd avoid the Dakotas, Wyoming and Montana. Everyone remembers their first time driving on snow and ice. Those places are like that most of the year, so that makes sense.

Washington doesn't really stand out in specific categories, but this list was compiled from safety ranking, economic environment and driving laws. Washington does have some stiff driving laws, especially for teens, so maybe that strikes fear in them to do a good job driving or have their privileges taken away.

This was from WalletHub and you're welcome to check out the rest of the list.
