Will Guy Fieri’s New Jaw-Drop $80M Food Network Deal Lead to WA?
Guy Fieri just inked a new deal with the Food Network worth 80 million dollars!
You go, Guy! That is quite the accomplishment! This calls for another cigar.
How Long Has Guy Fieri Been on Food Network?
I’m old enough to remember watching Guy as a baby-faced and extremely hyper contestant on The Next Food Network Star back in 2005. He was a bright-eyed and spiked hair restaurant owner who lived in Sonoma County, California.
In his audition tape for the Food Network, he talked about making food out of “confusion”, his words, not mine. He displayed a wild and zany recipe for gorgonzola tofu sausage terrine. I didn’t even know what “terrine” was!
I thought he was pretty cool and was excited when Guy Fieri won the competition and when he got his first big show on Food Network, Guy’s Big Bite, which led to the extremely popular cult hit, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
