Easter Events in the Yakima Valley That You Don't Want to Miss

This year, Easter Sunday falls on April 5th, but for the next two weeks, Yakima, Selah, and Naches are filled with holiday events to "get your Easter on." From egg hunts to special dining events, here's a handy guide of what's going on in the Yakima Valley for the next two weekends in honor of the Easter holiday.

Sure, you can hit up Easter buffets and church services, but what about other holiday events in town, like the huge Easter Egg Hunt happening at the Pippins baseball park this year?

My daughter wants me to take her to the Easter "Egg-Spress" Trolley, so I think we're going to plan for that. Details on this are included the list of 11 fun Easter events you can check out below.

My kiddo is now fifteen years old, but I still remember like it was yesterday when she was an itty bitty thing that I was taking to all the Easter egg hunts here in town. Now that she's older, I replaced the candy eggs with fun-size candy bars and mini-bags of Hot Cheetos around our apartment complex courtyard, ha!

Easter Weekend Trolley Egg-Spress

Take a fun Easter-themed trolley ride that includes an Easter egg hunt, hot cocoa, tea, and photos with the Easter Bunny. 4-7 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 4th. $5.72 per person for persons ages 3 and up.

There will be two separate egg hunt candy dashes at one of Yakima's local parks, one for toddlers and another for kids ages 6 to 11 years old. You must pre-register your child so that there will be enough candy for the kids.
