Yakima’s 2013 Kid’s Fish-In April 26th Will Be Family Fun (Video)

I remember being a kid and catching fish with a old willow switch and a hook and fishing in a creek but a fun fishing event is coming to Yakima.

Kids learn a lifelong recreational skill and have a good time participating on the event. This event is an opportunity for kids to learn about the sport of fishing.

Reflection Pond at Sarg Hubbard Park is where the fish-in takes place. The event is open to the first 1000 kids, ages 5-14. Kids receive a rod, reel, tackle & bait, angler education, and t-shirt, plus the opportunity to take home two fish! The pond is stocked with 5,000 rainbow trout just waiting to be hooked and will make for a fun day!
