Yakima’s Community Christmas Tree Arrives Monday
Yakima’s Community Christmas Tree arrives tomorrow (Monday, Nov. 20).
A 40-foot Spruce tree donated by a resident of Terrace Heights is scheduled to show up at Millennium Plaza in downtown Yakima at 10:00 am.
The official tree lighting ceremony will be Sunday, December 3rd, at the conclusion of Downtown Yakima’s annual Holiday Lighted Parade which starts at 6:00 pm.
Volunteers with the Downtown Association of Yakima will be hanging lights on trees in the Plaza area prior to the parade and lighting ceremony.
