Rihanna is famous for her daring hairstyles, but being so fashion-forward comes at a price.

Britain’s Daily Mail tabloid reports the 23-year-old singer spends 14,000 pounds — or nearly $23,000 — a week on her hair. Rihanna has enlisted the services of celebrity stylist Ursula Stephen, but the top stylist doesn’t come cheaply. She reportedly charges more than $3,200 a day.

Factor in Rihanna’s busy schedule and you have one whopping budget item – a source told the Daily Mail that Rihanna “makes several public appearances a week, and the cost soon stacks up.”

Rihanna’s famous ‘dos include a choppy short cut and a flaming red mane, but the paper reports that she’s changed her style 13 times since debuting the red hair last year. She was recently spotted with a golden-brown curly style while vacationing in her native Barbados.
