Zayn Malik's Mind of Mine was one of the most anticipated album releases on Friday (March 25). Whether you were on Team Zayn or just had a love for One Direction, it was the LP to get.

And to thank his fans for all their support over the past year, Zayn performed a selection of tunes from the new album at the iHeartRadio album release party, which took place at the iHeart Honda Stage Theater in New York City over the weekend.

Sporting an all-black outfit that made his graffitied jacket pop, Zayn treated fans to live versions of "Truth," "It's You" and "Like I Would." Although the event only lasted 30 minutes, it's obvious from all the screams that the 40 fans in attendance felt it was worth it.

"I want thank every single one of you for coming tonight," he said before going into "Like I Would. "The support's been amazing. Thanks!"

The show followed a special performance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on the eve before Mind of Mine dropped. He also released the video for "BeFour," which was filmed in Manchester, England.

Zayn teamed up with Grammy-winning producer Malay on the project and delves into who the former 1D singer is. “I wrote all kinds of personal stuff," he told Complex. When I thought about the way that it sounded to me, it sounded great, and I listened to it over and over again. Then I went to a transitional phase where I realized, “Sh—t. Everybody else is going to listen to this as well.
