Looking for more cool games at PAX in Seattle, I saw a game labeled as a Cyberpunk Bartender game. Combine this with a very 'Blade Runner' vibe and I had to check out VA-11 HALL-A which I believe is pronounced Valhalla.

Yep! Exactly as I thought. You play a bartender mixing drinks in a futuristic setting. While doing so you can hear about other's stories. I like what I played of this game because you play it on your own time. You go to work, or not. You can wonder around checking out posters and stuff, too.

I really like this game because we don't have enough cyberpunk games. It operates a lot like another cyberpunk game for the Sega CD and other systems called Snatcher which is one of my favorite games of all time.

I love the pixel art in this title and although the sound of 'go to work' doesn't sound very appealing to any video game as you can just do that in real life, what I did play of this game was pretty fun and looking forward to playing more. Unfortunately, I'm a console gamer as I don't play a lot of computer games but speaking to the guys at PAX, they do have plans on releasing a Vita version in the near future.

Best of all, unlike many games at PAX, this game is available now on PC, Mac and Linux.
