The Central Washington State Fair begins in Yakima in just a couple of days, and last night, I got a sneak peek! It was so cool to see all of the workers setting up the rides, as well as seeing some of the animals already settling in to their new homes in pens for the next two weeks...

Unfortunately it's one of those things that doesn't need to be said but, because it happens, it needs to be said. There have been many instances of people trying to take selfies on the rides at the fair, or just trying to get first-person perspective video. If you love your phone, don't do this.
