Yakima Maker Space

Downtown Summer Nights is a music festival downtown every Thursday at 5 p.m. Kids are always welcome to this free event and, just for them, we have free arts and crafts as well as free face painting.

Yakima Maker Space is a great place to take your kids, and I promise you'll be amazed as well. And just in time for the holidays, they're offering several all-ages workshops and events in the coming days. Here are a few seasonal offerings you can take advantage of.

My daughter is part of a 'kids club' at Children's Village that keeps kids occupied all summer long with fun field trips. Wednesday was a visit to Yakima Maker Space. Even I couldn't wait for this one, as I'm such a huge fan of who they are and what they do.
