Bold, Local & Female-Led: 2 Yakima Bar Restaurants You Must Visit Now

This One's for All the Yakima Valley Foodies

Sure, there are a ton of places in Yakima to go have an adult beverage, but there's only a small handful of them that serve up drinks that I'd consider too pretty to drink!

Two places come to my mind right off the bat: Purrr and Brunch Bliss & Bubbles, and in honor of Women's History Month, shout out to these two women-owned bar restaurants!

The other day, a dear friend of mine came to Yakima for a visit and I took him to a place he doesn't have in California: Purrr.

I ordered a virgin margarita and was pleasantly surprised at the garnish.

There's just something about that dried up lime with pink sugar crystals that just made my drink seem so fancy and refined.

What's the Secret Recipe for This Next Drink? We Still Can't Figure It Out

I don't know the name of the owner, of Purrr, but she is hella cool! She's also the resident bartender, and there's one drink on the cocktail menu that is so special, she won't even tell the employees the drink recipe. Have you tried it?

It's called Charlotte's Web, and the only ingredient the owner would reveal is that it's "tequila based." I took a sip of my friend's drink, and it tasted like a smooth version of a Sweet Tart. You couldn't taste the tequila at all!

These beverages go really great with some avocado fries as an appetizer. They were certainly a hit at our table!

Brunch Bliss and Bubbles

The other place in town whose drinks I will rave about is Brunch Bliss and Bubbles, which is owned by two local Valley sisters. They have flights of everything, and that's right up my alley! At Girls Brunch the other day, I ordered a flight of Palomas. They were gorgeous!
