Before you go camping, keep these local tips in mind first:
- Clean Up After Yourself! 'Leave no trace', as the Burning Man people say.
- Get the right permit, especially if you're camping/visiting public state land. If you can't afford a Discover Pass you can rent one from the library.
- You will have limited if any access to drinking water or public toilets. When you go camping at dispersed campsites, it's a BYOW party (Bring Your Own Water)!
