Art Expressions Yakima Kicks-Off Dia DE Los Muertos (Donate)

Art Expressions Yakima is a non-profit group in our area that puts together after school programs that are just killer. They are donation-based and have upcoming classes. Here is what it says on their Facebook page

Our focus this month will be the Day of the Dead holiday. Other wise known as Dia de los Muertos. It is a very bright and colorful holiday celebrating the Mexican heritage of honoring loved ones who have past away. We will be using mixed mediums this month to create beautiful works of art for the celebration that happens on November 2nd.

Classes are available Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays

Drop off is anytime between 3-4- At this time students will get a healthy snack, be able to work on homework, get extra time on their art projects, or just hang out with friends.

Class runs for from 4-5:30

Class cost- We run on donations. We could not operate without them. But we also don't want kids to not be able to participate due to the ability to pay. So heres the break down.

Cost for us to operate the class- $75 per student, per month
Cost for just the supplies- $35 per student per month
Cost for snacks- $10 per student, per month

If you can cover one of these costs with a donation it would make a big difference and help us to be able to continue to provide this community outreach for a long time to come. If you are unable, that is OKAY! We still want your kiddos to come and feel welcome to be there!
