BTS member Jungkook’s "Bad Guy" dance video broke the record of the most retweeted tweet of 2019.

When Twitter announced the World Record Egg had the most retweeted tweet of the year on Monday (December 9), BTS' loyal ARMY got together to change that. In less than one hour, the band's fanbase made a video of Jungkook dancing to Billie Eilish’s hit track the number one tweet of 2019 — and TBH, we're surprised it wasn't already. Since its release in June, the clip has been liked 2.3 million times and retweeted over one million times.

“BTS now has the most Retweeted Tweet of 2019, globally," Twitter later wrote in a statement. "In under an hour after we announced the list of most RTed Tweets globally, the fans saw that BTS was in second place, and came together to make it number one. The BTS Tweet has now surpassed the #1 Tweet by 6K Retweets!”

As for the World Record Egg, it sits in second with 957k retweets.

Meanwhile, BTS was also named the most tweeted about musicians of the year, beating megastars like Ariana Grande, Drake and Rihanna for the top spot. This is yet more proof that the boys are paving the way. Plus, with a potential comeback and rumored new album in 2020, it looks like they're going to dominate 2020, too.
