Chicken ‘n’ Waffles on a Stick is a Real Thing at the Fair

I like chicken, I like waffles, I like the convenience of food being on a stick. So what's not to love about this delicacy of the Central Washington State Fair? Let's try it, shall we?

Basically, they take a chicken strip, dip it in waffle batter and prepare it like a waffle. I guess the waffles change from time to time. Mine was red velvet, which I would've opted for, given the option.

They serve it to you with 100 percent pure maple syrup on the side for dipping.

It was pretty good. It was OK, but not something I could eat more than one of at a time. Certainly a novelty.
