It's the town and community I grew up in. The community of Wapato plans to get together for the 73rd Annual Harvest Festival. That includes the annual parade. Featuring floats and groups from around the valley and Northwest. Vendors will be set up at Lions Park.

As the city of Wapato gets ready for a fresh new start. After some controversy with the city government.  According to an article from the Yakima Herald. The city council and the community of Wapato. Had a few short weeks to get everything planned out.

This year's parade will be on the old parade route Monday(Sept. 2). It starts at 10 A.M. at Wapato High School and ending on First Street. Everyone is invited to the community of Wapato to enjoy the 73rd Annual Harvest Festival. GO WOLVES!!
